How we can breath out here

by oliver on 5th august 2009

Minnions.

I bring good news. Create Festival went rather well, we think. Shame I spent most of my time with my back to you lovely people. Its all about being enigmatic you see. Obviously.

Back in the studio tomorrow to finish off, at last, everything that is going on iTunes which will in turn hopefully be up within the realm of greatness that is Juletide. Probably just an EP going up there, but there will be stuff on there you haven't heard before. Maybe, and this is a big maybe, we might even have the album done by then. Don't say we don't spoil you. Once it is all up we will post here and we will expect to see plenty off copies flying off of the metaphorical shelves of the iTunes store.

Any questions about anything - e.g How come you are so great? Why do my socks have holes in them? etc. - post them on our myspace page, either of our facebook walls, or if you are feeling really adventurous, there should be a comments link on the right where you can place your little query and a nice man called Alan will pick them up for us.

All new news will be posted here, there and everywhere, so you have no excuse not to keep up to date. And believe me, there will be a test...

Love and Lycanthropy

by oliver on 24th june 2009

Yes, you heard right. We are playing Create Festival next month (26th July). And we have recently been in Highworth's - if a little technologically unreliable - Live Lounge where we played "All I Want Is You" and "Follow Me Home". A little plug for the EP - which happens to be called Love and Lycanthropy - while I'm here. Buy it. If you love us you will. If you don't, we know who are real fans are. My mum says we're cool...

Back in the studio this month, if all goes to plan. Re-recording some old classics and producing demos of new tracks from my boudoir. Nothing quite that sexy however. Unlike this. What a guy.

New songs to be uploaded this month hopefully. At least by the end of the summer. Due to a severe case of Flava Flave Syndrome, time is not amazingly available, and according to our manager can't be bought. This presents us with issues which cannot be fixed. Molto fiutando to all. And yes, that does say what you think it does.

Mark my words, if a mouse falls in the woods and if an stands elephants in the woods, would it be too much for us to bear?

Are we window shopping?

Or are we window licking?

The Beatles couldn't count...

by oliver on 18th april 2009

Here we are again at the grand unveiling of a new song which I sincerely hope you enjoy. Revolution 2 (Inferno, Purgatorio, Paradiso) is second in the list of the nine Revolutions. Revolution 1 and Revolution 9 being written by the Beatles. However, I always wondered why they missed out the middle 7. Therefore, being an OCD freak and a nosey bugger, I struggle to let this one go. This one, inspired by the G20 summit, Dante's Divine Comedy and Jacqui Smith's husbands "work", is the first installement in the Revolution series. Covers of the other 2 may be on the way... If you are lucky. Hope you enjoy, and if you don't, then the Baby Jesus will giev you a good old smack when you get to heaven. Mark my words, we are so close it is unreal.

If you are reading this, you have a lot more patience than I first thought

Well, it has been a while hasn't it. And we have had many changes in this 6 month cycle. Including, band members, music and more. Great.

Firstly, we have re-vamped the album. Seeing as we change our minds so often and are constantly writing new stuff, we are abandoning re-posting the new song list every time it changes and instead, we are removing it. Mwahaha.

Secondly, we now have a band full enough and accomplished enough to begin playing gigs soon. Yay verily, I hear you cry. I am sure you do. Cry that is.

Finally, we have been in the process of writing and re-writing, naming and re-naming, cringing and re-cringing and have come to a conclusion. Music isn't as easy as you think.

A long time passes...

Well, hasn't it been ages since our last post. A good couple of things to add here.

1) We have a manager and producer in the form of Jezz Weatherall. We hope for success with him as our mentor.

2) We have finished the writing of the new album which should be due for release next year. Along with this, we have a song list for you. This may be up for changing as songs are deemed "weaker" or "too radical" for your gentle ears.

  1. Cirque Antebellum
  2. And So I Set Sail For Unknown Shores
  3. Colours
  4. Just Is Life
  5. Kudos In Light
  6. All I Want Is You
  7. Nothing
  8. Follow Me Home
  9. Gravity, Once Again
  10. Mercenary
  11. Journies Through The Mind Of A Loved One
  12. Song For A Girl
  13. The Silver Book
  14. Love and Lycanthropy For Beginners

Several people have my face

Just a little update for you. We have two new members. Woohoo! Alex Day and Will Roberts to be precise and they will be playing with us from now on. Not literally playing with us, but playing music alongside us. You and your sick mind. Disgraceful.

Also, we have finished the album. It took us a year, but its done. And you can place your order from the contact us form. Lucky you. Don't say we don't spoil yous lot.

New Release

by oliver on 16th april 2008

Oh kind friends,

We are releasing a new 5-track E.P soon. Anyone interested leave a comment here or on our myspace and place your order. Depending on how many orders we get, depends on the price. So, the more people you tell about it, the less you and your compadres will pay. Simple. Of course, postage will be applied regardless (sorry, we ain't that rich), so if you are one of our Norweigan fans, sorry. Really I am, but post don't send itself for nothing. But, if you are lucky enough to know us personally, you could end up paying very, very little indeed.

So basically, the more people you tell, the less you're gonna have to fork out. And the more you buy, the happier we are. The happier we are, the more consistent and regular our songs will come a-flowing. Like a river. Maybe I took this metaphor a little bit too far.....

Over and Out

Welcome

by oliver on 8th april 2008

Logo Welcome to our new site. We now have a home! This is just the beginning. Maintain eye peeled status........ Everything is coming into place at last. And now all we need is you. Tell your friends, relatives, family, pets anyone that will listen. Spread the good word.

Anyway, here’s a little guided tour for all of you out there in the far corners of the world. On the right you will find all your menus to navigate the site and our music player. Check out the band bio for info about both of us and a bit more about the band. If we offend you, if you just want to ask us questions or even more flatteringly become an obsessive fan (e.g. sending us single red roses, obsessive letters, violent planned kidnappings like in the film "Misery") then click on Contact Us and fill in the form. Please leave comments here when you visit the site, just for some feedback for us. Also, check out our poetry. Easier than music to write, so there's more of it. Makes sense, eh? Check out the links page for links to cool, useful sites and our myspace page.

And now, what you've all been waiting for (drumroll please). Our music is available in the player at the bottom of the page on your right.

There’ll be more on the way so keep checking back and I’ll keep you posted.
